"Look Deep into Nature and will understand everything better.  -Albert Einstein

"You are not offering testimony to the existence of something, you are bringing something into existence―something that did not exist before, and that would not exist if it were not for you."  ~Guy Tal

Yes, we "photographers bring things into existence"  through a  mind dance  of visualizing , seeing the unseen,  preparation, knowledge of subject, timing, equipment... etc... all while  dealing with the elements and challenges of capturing the shot...  but... ARE WE  doing it alone?  Did we cause the light to rise, casting that warm first light glow onto the  wind  blown  ripples in the sand dune we have in the foreground of our composition?   NO...    we aren't necessarily  bringing "it" into existence...rather aren't we bringing ourselves to it...or bringing ourselves to that moment which we then capture... or as I like to think of it...arresting motion,  so that in the future when others look at moves again... This is all a photographer can really do...if you think about it...          I believe as artistic landscape and wilderness photographers we capture what has already been created and what is already there...I also believe that many people in this world simply "do not have eyes to see" therefore it is up to us to bring these things..."into existence"       Yes, in this light we are "creators" in our own right and each have a unique frame of reference, skill set   and lens through which we see the world....this is the substance. this is what we bring into existence, that perhaps...wasn't there before, and would not exist were it not for you...  this unique capture of an already unique creation.            While I very much appreciate, believe in and understand what GUy Tal is trying to communicate I think his words can also be mis- interpreted,        therefore  I want to be CLEAR with something....    I am  grateful to  KNOW my Creator.   I know him as God my Heavenly Father,   and his son Jesus Christ.     Some of you may call the creator   Bud-ah, Allah,  God, Konkachila and others...  Whatever it is...   I share with you in this knowoing, and give  my deepest  gratitude and  awe to the creator I know to be God and his son Jesus Christ.     It is his  creations... which are abundant, matchless and perfectly  superfluous. They are   rich and simple   yet incredibly mind boggling and  complex,  big,  small, macro to infinite, past and present....  a world of time and motion, starts and stops, beginnings and endings... all  wrapped up in a conglomerate of beauty and timelessness.... to him My lenses reach upward to his home   and navigate and adventure about on all longitudes and latitudes at his "footstool".        My GOD and your GOD.... I graciously give all credit for this incomprehensibly beautiful home."

"Nothing devised of man is superfluous.   ALL things denote that there is a GOD....  Fact!  We are  all living  on a spinning rock  (that comes with its very own moon)  rotating at a speed of  1000  mph or 1500 feet per second... and    orbits the sun at 67,000 mph.   Thats 1000 miles per second... or 1,608,000 miles we travel in a day... Yah... wrap your head around that one...      Our planets    orbit is part of a march larger  yet perfectly organized chaos of motion that is  in precise  alignment with neighboring planets that  consistently stay the course  day after day year after year....  dancing  around the brightest star we call the sun... is this not enough to yield our "knowings" and ask the deeper questions.... HOW COULD WE BE ALONE?   WHO CREATED THIS?   WE CAN"T BE ALONE... Can We?  THIS....THIS world...the universe...  OUR BODIES... Oh my gosh... Take a careful look at your body?   It's a  miracle.  The greatest miracle that is taken for granted and overlooked everyday by everyone of us.  Simply too much to even begin to go into with our amazing bodies... but think about this...   Think for a moment about the process of a growing baby?   Could the human race without having sex take all the materials from the earth and make a baby that has a soul, a mind.....and build within it the   ability to choose and act for themselves?   People... we aren't here  by some meaningless happenstance in some ancient "BIG BANG"....  That's fake news....   Its actually a load of crap and offends reason.    Think about this....Our solar system is part of a ginormous  galaxy... you know it as the  Milky way Galaxy, and by itself is just a  tiny spec (NO OFFENSE)  and takes its place  in this incomprehensible cosmos of space which is staring at you  through your front room window.   "BIg picture thinking here"   Big picture.  Back away... row your boat away from the shores of disbelief so you can bask in this glorious  big reveal... God is real.  You are his creation. Period.  This earth was created for us. for our benifit.    What are we doing with it?

We are not alone....  my humble understanding of our world and beyond and what I see and photograph, tells me that  beyond the farthest star in that dark night skies,  exist other galaxies, with other habitable planets and Suns... populated with people like YOU and  ME.     This rock we call home... it is sacred... it is spiritual/ living spirit packaged in  a glorious framework of limitless and diverse beauty....It like us is's breathing.   It is constant and purposeful.             As we come to understand our beautiful planet and see it as it really is, what it is, and where and why it was made and by whom....our connection to this world and worlds beyond, our connection  to spirit, to God, to the creator,  to earth, and to all mankind, enhances and magnifies.   We are connected.. We are all connected.
